-Lake Powell-
For those of you who know me very well know that a trip to Lake Powell is Almost at the very top of all my vacation choices. Derrik and I hadn't been since 2008, so it was MUCH NEEDED! We went with a big group from Derrik's company and had an absolute Blast. Each office had their own house boat and they highered personal Chef's as well. The Food was all Amazing, it was fun not having to worry about planning meals and packing all the coolers, we just each had a bag and showed up it was Delightful :)

All of the boys had way too much fun on the water weeny, 4 man tube, etc. It was nice watching Derrik relax and just have fun after his long summer!
Of course they had to do back flips off the back of the 2 story house boat, I swear he has NO FEAR it scares me to death!
Jessica was a Natural on the Wake Surf, she made all of us girls and actually some of the boys look Really bad :)

The boys took us on a CRAZY tub ride one of the days, they had No Mercy. But I must say we all held on pretty well given the speed and waves... oh except for me of course, I swear I am ALWAYS the first and only one off of a tub :( We were hitting such big waves that our legs would bounce up and hit our heads a couple of times, I got quite the battle wound. This stupid bruise stayed for days!
A little night time Hot Tubbing up on top, it was a beautiful night and a Full moon:)

We went on a little hike one of the days up above our camp, we both decided when we were up there that we HAVE to come back every year just to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. Derrik was cute because he would just sit and look out at all the scenery and just say how much he loves this place and how peaceful it is. I couldn't agree more, a little peice of heaven on earth, especially when you have a nice clean bed, bathroom, and yummy home cooked meals :)

Derrik and Tavita being silly
This guy down the beach from us built this in 10 hours, it was Amazing! He would light it at night so it looked like it was breathing fire
The water was So Glassy the whole time we were there.
Heading home :(
