Where does the time go...

       I do have full intensions of getting up to date with this dang blog, but the months just keep passing and I am falling farther and farther behind neglecting the Blog World! One of my MANY new years resolutions that have already started being written down (good intentions just need follow through) is to give this site a Facelift or maybe start fresh for a new year??? Change is always good right :)  

       But until then here is a highlight of our Fall...

  Finally got to return to "The Big Apple" with the Husband... such a Magical city, it was absolutely Incredible! 

 and so was WICKED!

This came to my door this fall and has been my new obsession ever since. Seriously glides along like a dream, no other way to run with a baby :)

Cabin Fun with Cousins

Finally got to meet this little Dude, wasn't even planned as you can tell by the no shoes and socks on my child's feet in the brisk Provo weather. Derrik was walking out of the BYU game and spotted them, so glad he did :)

Too Cool for School!

 10 Months Already... 

The months just keep ticking away, before I know it little miss will be eating Birthday cake :( A little update on her...

- She is BUSY, BUSY, BUSY! Keeps me running constantly and I love it!

- Learned how to "click" her tongue and does it on que if you say "Show me your trick?"

-New Words "More",  "Mommy" She even learned how to sign More and Milk (finally) but Oh My is it Cute!
- Walks 100% of the time :( Can't believe my baby almost isn't a baby anymore, so sad!

-Holds the iphone up to her ear and says something that sounds like she is saying "Hello"!

- Grabs the remote and points it at the TV like she knows it will change the channel!

- She still has an obsession with owls!
- Is Very determined
- Loves babies now, she always goes up to little babies even if they are almost her same age and pets them and talks to them like she is so much older!
- When I take her to the gym almost every time that I pick her up the girls tell me she is the diva in the room and either wants to be pushed in the baby stroller the whole time or always wants to play with the kids that are much older than her.
- Is such a good sleeper and will play in her crib for a good 30 minutes to an hour before she is ready to get out... she's Great :)
- Is a big fan of stroller rides. We can go for miles and she never makes a peep!
-Starts dancing the second she hears music start, she's got mad moves ;)
- Has become quite a little daddy's girl over the last month since he has been home. Her number one word that she say's ALL DAY LONG is Dadda! She lights up when he walks in the room and always tries to get his attention when he is busy doing other things.
- Would eat rocks the entire time we are outside in the yard if we would let her, not sure why they taste so good to her but they must because she is always going back for more.
- Her hair is FINALLY starting to thicken up and getting a little longer too. She is so sweet when I take her into her bathroom to fix her bead head :)
- Is such a little Ham, has the FUNNIEST little smile these days that we like to call her "Squinchy Face" (Pictures of that to come later)
- Has 9 teeth and 3 new ones breaking through at the moment.
- Still hates to keep her head bands in :(
-Loves us to read her stories, but might love to eat her books more. She always is so intrigued even though I'm pretty sure she has no idea what we are saying some of the time!
- Has her Mommy and Daddy wrapped TIGHT!!!

Every morning when she wakes up she looks up on her shelf where these ceramic owls sit and she Hoot's at them! So I thought it was fitting to get a picture of her mauling it and giving kisses :)

8 and 9 Month Milestones

Oh Wow where do I begin with this update... First things first, little miss B is oh so sweet and is the light of our day. She is the happiest little girl and is unbelievably smart. Not so sure who she got that from :) A few things that she has been up too...

- She is a TROOPER of a traveling buddy and is a big hit every time we board a plane. She loves to peek over the seat and smile at everyone! Even though after each travel day I'm completely exhausted, she couldn't have been any better. I guess I just can't keep up with her cuteness some days ;)

- She is OBSESSED with Owls and every time she see's one ( we have a few throughout the house for Fall) she pushes her little lips together and lets out a Hoot Hoot, sounds like Whoo Whoo. Quite possibly the cutest thing ever!

- She is a FAST little crawler and walks along all the furniture, I'm sure she will be walking in no time!

- She isn't shy At All!

-Isn't interested in the slightest in watching baby learning videos, etc.

-Hates when we put her in her car seat after she has been in once that day. She arches the back like I've never seen before,  its unbelievable! Maybe a future gymnast???

- Hates when I put her on the grass:)

- LOVES the Katy Perry station on Pandora (I know, I know that may be grounds for bad mothering)

- She is a Great eater

- She loves to swim 

-LOVES to eat rocks, or at least she tries her hardest every time we are outside! 

-Is too smart for her own good and thinks she is already a toddler. I can't handle her cuteness most days and am SO grateful my life has taken me to this place and that I've been blessed with the sweetest little girl in the world. Not sure what I ever did to get so lucky! 

She loves mommies old dinosaur phone, glad someone does and even more glad the dinosaur has since retired!

Winter Quarters!

While we were in Omaha we decided to venture over to Winter Quarters and check out the sights. It was interesting learning about all of the history there and all the sad things that happened. I left that day feeling pretty lucky to have been born during these times and not during the days of Pioneer's. They lived such hard and trying lives and I admire their Faith and strength to keep pressing forward!
