The Shakespears: August 2011

-Summer Lovin-

Here is a little of what we've been up to this summer, well first I'll show you what Derrik has been up too since its been the SAME thing for almost 5 long months now! He always misses all the fun during the summer months. Don't feel bad for him though, he makes up for it during the rest of the year:) It's just a really good thing there is No college football during the summer months or we'd be in big trouble, that might be the only thing that makes him lose "Focus"! I was telling him last night we don't have many pictures from this summers happenings out in Texas, but I'm afraid that's my fault since I looked and felt like DEATH most days so a camera lens was the last thing I wanted to see. It was a BUSY summer and Derrik's first year Managing an Office for his company. Not sure how that man does what he does and still manages to keep a GREAT attitude day after day in the Blistering Heat and dealing with all that he does! He's Amazing and I'm SO EXCITED he's about done and gets to finally Breathe and reward himself a little with some fun after another successful summer! We Can't wait for the next few months and all the EXCITEMENT its going to be filled with:)

This is one of the places I enjoyed this summer, the only place that didn't smell so I frequented it often :)

Lots of BBQ's and a little ER Fun!

I decided to go home for a little bit and spend some quality time with my mother dearest and see all the kiddo's. Kensley and Alayna are the best of friends I Love it! They are only a year apart and are the cutest to watch them interact:) One of MANY wheelbarrow rides eating Popsicles while holding hands!

Korbin's Birthday Party!

This little boy is the Biggest ham just like his dad. He is such a good boy, and is oh so wild and full of it! He isn't scared of anything, in fact every time we see him he has a new battle wound to prove it. Jenni says he's going to send her to the nut house with as often and he's crashing and burning :) Love this little boy

Derrik's mom threw Lacee and I a joint baby shower in Escalante. We got spoiled and our little ones will be oh so cute in there matching attire :) Thanks Camille for all the YUMMY food and great company!

My mom and I had Alayna for a week while Ang was at girls camp so we had to take a little ride down to Antimony and visit Grandpa Kasey and ride horses for a day! She could have gone all day, such a horse nut!

Adam and Jenni brought the kids down to play while she was at Grandma's and Adam disappeared for awhile and came back just as proud as can be and told us to all come see his "Redneck Babysitter" :) Ahhhh Only Adam would think of this. We even had to go get her pillow because she was dozing off :) SO CUTE!

Piute County Fair Fun! Alayna was ticked off she was only going to get to ride a sheep, she kept telling Angie that she wanted to ride a Bucking Horse!

Ang and the Kiddo's came down and spent a few days in St. George with me in July. We went swimming at our pool, my Aunt Steph's pool, went to Little Mermaid at Tuacahn, went to the temple, the splash pad, parks, shopping, breakfast at the Bear Paw (Yum) etc. We had so much fun and the kids were little fishy's all week long!

Uncle Brady even got in on the swimming action and had a little diving contest with the kids!

His first Ice Cream cone all to himself, not sure I was suppose to give it to him but he kept trying to steal it from me so I handed it over :) Adam and Jenni were laughing so I guess I wasn't in too much trouble, just had to go get him in the tub afterward since it was EVERYWHERE!!!

This is when Adam took it away :( Poor lil guy

Lacee's CUTE Baby Shower! She had so many yummy treats, Cute Decorations she made, and a great turnout with a LOAD of Gifts. Not sure how she fit all of his new treasures into his room?
